90 Years Flew By

On this day in 1927, Charles Lindbergh landed in Paris completing the first solo air crossing of the Atlantic. This was such a huge deal he became instantly famous worldwide. Five years later his son was kidnapped from their home and his remains were found in the woods.

I was just watching something about conspiracies and one is that Lindbergh kidnapped his own son because he was a big believer in Eugenics. Apparently the son had many deformities and Lindbergh wanted to experiment on him. They claimed that the child’s remains were missing internal organs that were very specific and this contradicted the idea that animals ate them.

I like a good conspiracy and I could buy into this. Most crimes that are committed, the person responsible is either family or friend. There were no fingerprints in the baby’s room, like they were all wiped down. Lindbergh seems to be a bit of a ghoulish man. I’m sure a narcissist like him would not care for having a child with any retardation.

So really if this is true, he’s an even bigger hero.
